I was reading through WoWinsider.com today and learned of news that a Blizzard employee was offering a lifetime subscription of World of Warcraft if you donate $25 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
All you have to do is donate $25 via your Visa, Amex, etc. credit card through this link and make sure to check the “I want to send a message” box so you can include the comment “For the Horde” or “For the Alliance”. These comments will allow Katherine Allen, the Blizzard employee to include your name in a hat for the draw on January 8. Only entries made until January 5, 2009 will be included!
I personally think that this is one good way of helping out. Remember, donate because you want to share a little of your funds to charity not because you want to win the life-time draw (although that makes for a really nice bonus!).
